Ledger and The Sandbox partners to promote crypto education

Ledger, the well-known French crypto wallet company, has partnered with blockchain-based metaverse The Sandbox to spread crypto education and security in its virtual world.

The news was announced by Ian Rogers, the founder, and CEO of Ledgers, at the Non-Fungible Conference on Monday. He stated that the goal of this new partnership is to bring security into The Sandbox and provide Ledger with a place to educate people about crypto.

Ian Rogers also said in an interview that educating new users was more than just practical but also good business. “If you really do your homework in crypto, then you start to learn about self custody, then you learn you need a hardware wallet, and once you learn that you choose Ledger because it’s the best,” he said. “So people get more educated, and—boom!—they become a Ledger customer.”

Ledger is acquiring 36 tracts of Land in the Sandbox metaverse, where it will develop a series of unspecified play-to-earn educational games. According to Rogers, gamified education provides a seamless way into the industry without exposing users to volatility.

Players will be rewarded with unique artifacts from the educational games, which were designed in conjunction with Swipe Back.

The COO and Co-Founder of The Sandbox, Sebastien Broget, stated, “The Metaverse should offer endless opportunities for artists and communities to create, construct, and share ownership of ideas and experiences in a worry-free way.”
