CryptoVoxels takes a more mature approach with rebranding

CryptoVoxels is planning to shed its lengthy name and rebrand just as ‘Voxels.’ The change was supposed to happen today, 1 April. However, due to some teething issues with the introduction of scam sites, the soon-to-be Voxel team has pushed the launch back to 4 May.

The change means a more mature approach to the company as it moves away from the word “crypto” and firmly establishes itself in the camp of voxel world-building. The team is now engaged in some troll-hunting due to unanticipated situations. Thus, filtering out undesirables seeking to profit from the name change.

Namecheap, a web hosting protocol, has taken down one fraudulent domain so far, while the team searches the internet to hunt for more. This name change is the first in a series of enhancements to the Cryptovoxels empire. Therefore, the team will follow it up with the much-anticipated debut of the governance token. Additionally, the Scarcity Island project is currently under development. The Scarcity Island is a virtual land with autonomous voting scenarios, providing users access to the Web3 autonomous environment and Metaverse.
